Tutoring will focus on specific skills that the child or young person is struggling with. Activities are multisensory and interactive. Teaching plans are bespoke and provide opportunities for consolidating skills by revisiting materials little and often. This can be achieved through activities that are left to practise between sessions or by including shorter additional sessions conducted by video link.
A dyslexia assessment report is useful in determining the focus of tuition, but it is not a pre-requisite. Tuition can focus on any of or a combination of the following:
